The past month’s been hectic for us at AAR.

Firstly, we released the debut single by math pop quartet Pharaohs , which recieved awesome reviews across the board. You can pick the whole thing on iTunes for 79p a track.

Also, Brummie skate punks All Or Nothing re-recorded their 2 tracks for the split CD with Chaos Days. The tracks sound so good, can’t wait for everyone to hear them! AON are also gonna be playing the Birmingham Slam Dunk festival alongside Funeral For A Friend, Fightstar, Kids In Glass Houses and a whole bunch of awesome bands.

Over the past week or so we’ve been sending out CDs for the Pharaohs EP – We’ve Tried Nothing And We’re All Out Of Ideas (7th November), and Tell It To The Marines debut digital single Fireworks (26th October).

On top of that I started Uni, which as well as being absolutely awesome, it’s currently taking up a lot of my time. I’ve not been as active as i should have been, but hopefully i’ll be able to multitask again soon!

AAR News

The other night the boys in Pharaohs played a show at the Fenton in Leeds, the new songs they played were incredible, look out for Photosynthesis sometime next year, it HAS to see a release. I’ve pretty much finished sorting everything promotional wise for the single, (which you can buy here – it’ll be on iTunes very soon too!) i’ll have lots of flyers to hand out soon so hit me up if you want any. There’ll be banner ads floating about on punkastic, daily dischord and alter the press.

The Marines video’s gonna be postponed a bit longer due to the dude who was going to do it travelling over to Australia to record a video with Jamie T.

All Or Nothing finally have the tracks (they sound really really good) for the split CD with Chaos Days (who still need a drummer!) which will be released on the 7th December. We have a really rad tee design which will be available with the pre-order – we’re thinking of having it on Forest Green and Maroon tees. We’ll have a pre-order date sorted soon.

Other News

Canterbury uploaded a new track from their album, which will be released in November, because it’s by Canterbury it’s without a doubt bloody brilliant. I don’t know how they do it.

In this field of work, stuff always goes wrong. It sucks pretty hard.

Pharaohs single should be on iTunes within the next 2 weeks. Unfortunately we had a few issues with it, but it’s all been ironed out now. Until then you can buy it from our store. Buy a copy, tell a friend about it. Pharaohs are a super hardworking band, help them out and support them.

AAR News

Tell It To The Marines have uploaded a brand new track from their EP Bridges. It’s a little slower than the others they’ve done before, check it out and let them know what you think. It’s my favorite from the CD.

As I’m sure you’ve all heard from my incessant plugging, Pharaohs debut digital single Squashed Against My Wall will be released tomorrow. We’d love it if you’d buy a copy from iTunes and help us get it in the independent charts. You can see the video for the track in the following places:

Check out these zines and and support the people who run them, without them we’d be nothing!

If you have Facebook then add our page and help us out by suggesting us to your friends.

AAR News

All Or Nothing are hitting the studio next week with the awesome Pete Miles (King Blues, Tonight Is Goodbye) to re-record their two tracks for the split CD with Chaos Days, which will be released on the 7th December.

Pharaohs‘ debut single ‘Squashed Against My Wall’ will be released this Monday, on iTunes, Napster, Spotify etc… Hopefully they should all be going up then, but they don’t really care for released dates so we’re currently working on an alternative if this happens.

Some kid’s using the All Aboard name to peddle his t-shirts, just so people know. He is not associated with All Aboard Records or any of our bands.
