So i thought it was time to make the confirmation that Chaos Days has officially split up.
For various reasons we decided to call it a day.

Yesterday, someone searched ’3 guys, 1 girl bands’ to get to my blog. Here are a few guy/girl bands i like.
Tigers Jaw

Tigers Jaw hail from Pennsylvania and play organ tinged, Run For Cover Records style indie/punk. They have a split with Balance And Composure out soon, along with a full length in the pipeline.
The Lock And Keys

The Lock And Keys are local to me, i’ve seen them a lot, and i like them quite a bit too! The ex-D-Rail band play songs on the heavier side of power pop, they’ve toured and played shows with the likes of Black Lungs, Crime In Stereo and Polar Bear Club and they have one in the works with Maycomb

I get a good run of blogs, then stop for a short while. I wish i didn’t do that! In all honesty though, between having to work on the Maycomb and John Candy releases, masses of uni work and Final Fantasy XIII coming out (what? It’s a good game!) i’ve not had much time.
Today we released my very talented friends in Maycomb‘s brand new EP ‘Crystal Tiger Blues’, 5 tracks of bitter-sweet pop-punk for fans of Valencia, Fall Out Boy and The Swellers. We’re all insanely proud of this release, check out the new songs/layout on their myspace.
Tomorrow, Holly and I are going down to Wolverhampton for the CD release show, if you live around there you should come along, the line-up’s sterling:

Look out for features on them in Ourzone Magazine (with a free MP3), on Alter The Press, Punktastic and Rocksound in the coming weeks.

WillBlood from Chaos Days did us a sick new banner!
My copy of The Wonder Years new album The Upsides came today. I love this band so much, even more that one of their songs mentions Leeds a lot. So rad.
